The home has been designed to maximise luxury, space and comfort.

Brand new for 2017. Spacious family home for up to 8 guests boasting a 180 degree lake view over the island of Comacina located in sun kissed Sala, one of the most sought after villages here on Lake Como. The home affords breathtaking lake views inside, expertly constructed with state of the art fixtures and fittings offering luxury with a capital L. Boasting ample space for large families or groups to relax and unwind in comfort. Take in the spectacular views from your private wrap around terrace, watch the sunrise as your breakfast to the lake and mountain backdrop, top of your tan on one of two terraces, located over two levels for added privacy or sip and aperitif on the luxury garden furniture at sunset. Alternatively, unwind in either the outdoor pool or the indoor communal spa, pool and sauna at the residence.The suite includes two double bedrooms, a twin bedroom, plus. an extra living room for added privacy featuring a double sofa bed ( room is completely enclosed and therefore be used as either a living room or an additional bedroom).

Access to the indoor pool, jacuzzi and sauna is completely private as guests are granted two x 1 hour and 30 minutes slots daily so you can enjoy the facilities entirely to yourself for complete tranquility and relaxation.

Bedrooms include 2 doubles, 1 twin plus living room with sofa bed.

Downstairs: one double bedroom, one twin bedroom, one bathroom (shower), one double bedroom with ensuite bathroom (shower), terrace. 85 sqm + 47 sqm terraces.

Ground floor: living room with open kitchen, toilet (sink + w.c.), big terrace, balcony. 87 sqm + 88 sqm terraces and balcony.

Attic floor: one extra living room (with a double sofa bed), one bathroom (shower). 75 sqm.

Ground floor and attic floor air conditioned. Downstairs not air conditioned (but it is not necessary as the house is top energy class)

The property includes three bathrooms, two ensuite (one each for the double bedroom and for the sofa bed room, both featuring a shower, wc and sink) plus a further bathroom (with shower) wc + sink. The home can therefore sleep a maximum of eight guests.

Quality fixtures and fittings are evident at every turn. Highlights include corian worktops in both the kitchen and bathrooms plus designer kitchen 100 gloss, Artemide lamps throughout the homeand Venetian plaster works adding a true sense of style and panache to the interior finishing which help set the apart from your standard luxury villa rental.

We have six apartments at the residence to choose from. Features includes, English speaking satellite tv channels and DVD players.

The home is conveniently located to reach the village of Sala Comacina with its pretty lake front and typical italian village life. Guests enjoy the stroll to the lake to dine and enjoy delicious local italian dishes and wonderful wines. Sala is home to an excellent wine bar, superb butcher with the freshest cuts, bakery and convenience store and cafe bars. In less than 5 minutes walk from the property you can reach a lido with beach volley, basketball area, 5-a-side football, restaurant and beach.

In Sala Comacina there is another beach and a ferry station with a taxi boat to the island.

Plus some excellent restaurants serving delicious italian fayre such as La Tirlindana, the one on the island, Taverna Bleu, etc..

The location of the residence means you are just a short drive to Lenno for the beach, ferry and supermarket. Less than 5 minutes by car. Just a few of the highlights our guests love include Villa Balbianello, 007 Casino Royale. Como city, 30 minutes from the residence, Bellagio, just a ferry ride away. The cable car to Pigra with breathtaking views over Como is less than a 10 minute drive. Mountaineers and cyclists will enjoy the majestic mountains to explore. Further afield, trips to the glitzy town San Moritz are popular or for the more adventurous, Monte Generoso offers mountain top and lake scenery that a sight to behold. The city of Milan is just an hours drive as is outlet shopping at Fox Town in Mendrisio over the Swiss border.

About the area

A lakeside town par excellence with typical italian piazza’s, cafes & restaurants a plenty for delcious italian delacies or just a spot of people watching. We’re just a boat ride from Bellagio or the Isola Comacina, a romantic island which you can view from the balcony.

Nearest supermarket is Sigma in Lenno (5 minutes drive from the apartment )

Residence Sala Comacina is a luxury, 3 story apartment/townhome with an elevator to bring you from a gated, indoor garage to the second and third floor. The views of Lake Como from the terrace and pool are breathtaking. The kids loved that there is an outdoor pool and indoor pool and spa for rainy days. It is a quiet, less touristy respite on the beautiful side of the lake. Matteo has outfitted the home so it is a modern luxury Italian apartment. You couldn’t ask for a better host. He and his staff are available, warm, and very welcoming. It was a lovely stay with 2 amazing restaurants downtown and 2 amazing restaurants within reach in neighboring Ossuchio, a short 15 min. walk down the GreenPath. You do need a car to drive to the grocery store or it’s a 1.3 mile walk. We really enjoyed paddle boards, and a boat rental at nearby Hiring a Boat? at the Comacina Island. A few days of la dolce vita.

Great apartment super helpful staff
Very good accommodation. Super helpful team involved in booking and arrivals and very clean
Our only problem was the driveway as we had a large vehicle (not the properties fault!) so I suggest getting a small car. We did however park a large Mercedes Vito in the car park so its ample space but tight to reverse

Exceptional property and host
We stayed as a group of 7 of us attending a wedding. The pictures don’t do this place justice. It was extremely spacious and the sleeping arrangements were perfect for all guests. The beds were comfortable. Matteo one of the hosts was exceptional. Had great recommendations and was available for us throughout our stay if we had any questions. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the gorgeous Lake Como. Thank you again.

Matteo very helpful and hospitable. Place is clean and spacious. Def need a car here. Nice walk down to town w a long staircase. A couple of little restaurants, small market and anotjer nice hotel to get drinks or meals at. There is also a little place for swimming.

And to create peace for the very young grandchildren. the indoor pool, jacuzi and outdoor swimming pool formed a great added value

Before arrival Matteo contacted us to check in and to give us instructions how to get to and into the appartement and where to park. We felt very welcomed.
Its a great and beautiful location to start all kind of small and big adventures around the lake.
The appartement was very clean and looked like the presented pictures. The kitchen was well equipped. Matteo was always available and replied very quickly to any kind of questions we had.
Altogether we had a wonderful vacation and can recommend the appartement to anyone who is looking for a place to stay at and discover lake Como.

The ambience is nevertheless very worth seeing and also in the apartment nothing was missing. A special highlight is the SPA area, which is shared with the other units. Lovely apartment with great view. Pretty elaborate. Excellent facilities with indoor and outdoor swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna. Relatively close to the lake with fine swimming and sup-opportunities because of the proximity of the island of Isola Comacino, which makes it a bit quiet bay. Big fridge with freezer, BBQ outside. Large terrace with beautiful views.
