The apartment has been lovingly appointed including air conditioning. The living room features a luxury sofa, dining for 6 plus widescreen TV with satellite selected UK channels. The kitchen has been stylishly designed and boasts every mod con including a dishwasher and washing machine. The apartment sleeps up to six guests, two bedrooms with ample wardrobe space (double and twin). Whilst the sofa bed doubles up as the third bedroom in the living room if required. Both bathrooms have been designed to an excellent standard with quality tiles and a contemporary shower in each. Large wrap-around balcony with stunning 180-degree lake views, the ideal spot to enjoy an aperitif as you watch the sun go down! Spacious private garden kitted out with smart garden furniture including sun loungers and bbq ideal for enjoying an alfresco feast or summer bbq. Shared swimming pool (5 apartments in total). Private parking space available.

About the area
The apartment is based in the heart of Laglio close to the lake enjoying wonderful panoramic lake views.
The village enjoys an enviable location on the lower western shore of the lake situated just a 10-minute drive from Como City and only 45 minutes drive from Malpensa airport in Milan.
Laglio is renowned for its tranquil atmosphere, being one of the few villages here situated off the main lake road with the quieter lower lake road giving you access around the lake as well as the ferry and bus service.
The apartment is surrounded by period villas some of which are frequented by local, wealthy Milanese (on the weekend) and the lakes most famous resident, George Clooney who owns the Villa Oleandra seen from your penthouse home and just a 5 minutes walk! The village benefits from a number of first-class restaurants, bars frequented by the villagers, local stores inc mini markets (fresh bread and pasta), salumeria (fresh local meats) heralding a bygone age! The pace of life is virtually at a standstill and provides the perfect destination to re-charge one’s batteries. Add to the mix pretty walks with breathtaking lake views and Laglio will no doubt delight and relax you with the slow, simplistic lifestyle in equal measure. The upmarket village of Cernobbio is only a short drive away with various boutiques, bars and restaurants. A shingle beach can be found in the village here in Laglio, golden sand man-made beach (20 mins drive), Milan (for shopping and football) 45 mins, Golf in Como (20 mins), Switzerland (designer outlet, Lake Lugano, san Moritz) are all easily reachable from your home as the Swiss border is only 20 mins by car.
Villa D’este, one of the most regal and picturesque hotels in Europe is just a short drive away which makes for a magical setting for high-class dining whilst the Gato Nero restaurant, a favourite celebrity haunt, perched above Cernobbio is renowned for its truffle risotto as well as stylish interior and breathtaking lake views.

Important notes on accommodation:
Children over 5 are welcome. No smoking apartment. WI.FI Internet access included. Outside: Shared pool (only 3 other apartments) Lake view private garden plus lake view balcony. Communal parking space at the bottom of the steps from the home next to the lake. Plus private secure parking here in the village for 2 cars for your exclusive use. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Sheets, linen, bedding included. Full cleaning is carried out between each guest stay. 140€ final cleaning plus note 20 euro additional rate applies for a 5th guest using the sofabed.
Air conditioning included. Steps to the home may deem the home unsuitable for elderly, infirm or young children. The interior of the home is located on one level.

We’ve been returning to Laglio for over 10 years now, and every visit just gets better. The communication with Julie and Barrie is absolutely top-notch — they are warm, responsive, and always go the extra mile to make sure everything is perfect.
The location is fabulous — just steps away from the famous local butcher (a must-visit!) and several excellent restaurants. The bus stop is within walking distance, and although the ferry is a longer stroll, you’ll rarely feel the need to venture far. Laglio has everything you need for a relaxing, authentic Lake Como experience.
One of our favourite things to do is enjoy a barbecue at the accommodation, especially after visiting the weekly fresh fruit and vegetable market. There’s something truly special about soaking in the peaceful charm of Laglio, surrounded by locals, good food, and stunning views.

This condo was perfect for our needs. An amazing view of Laglio and Como! Right down the street from the amazing Da Luciano’s, parking was accessible and usually plenty of spots. Having the ability to park in the garage down the street was an amazing piece of mind! Laglio is beautiful and quiet!

The house is modern, clean and tidy. We had taken quite awhile to understand how to get into the house as the check in details were confusing. We were unsure which unit as there was no house number. Have to climb about 90 steps from the nearby open open space car park to the house. Otherwise everything else is great!

We loved our 6 day stay. Lovely accommodations and beautiful panoramic views of Lake Como. Our hostess Julie was extremely responsive to any requests we had including a last minute need for a taxi service. We would highly recommend her.

We had a very relaxed and beautiful time in the apartment as a family, the communication with the host was always quick and friendly. We cooked a lot in the kitchen with great amenities and used the large outdoor terrace. Everything was as described, the only thing that surprised us was the steep climb to the apartment as many stairs had to be overcome first. This apartment is therefore somewhat unsuitable for people in wheelchairs. Thanks for the stay, we will be back!

Bus tickets can be purchased from the friendly Henri’s bar. There are quite a few steps from the roadside to the apartment but I was quite pleased I did this comfortably by end of the week.

Very well presented and equipped modern property with all the amenities you could possibly want. Super spacious balcony overlooking the lake with beautiful views to relax on. The apartments were quiet also quite private. Laglio is a bit sleepy but nice bars within walking distance and very good location to reach nearby towns by bus. Bus tickets can be purchased from the friendly Henri’s bar. There are quite a few steps from the roadside to the apartment but I was quite pleased I did this comfortably by end of the week.

The apartment was clean and well appointed and has an amazing view. We enjoyed the outdoor space, terrace and grill. The kitchen is modern and beautiful and had just about everything we needed. The open floor plan in the living area made it nice to cook and entertain. Expect to go to market for some essentials. Extra towels would be a plus. Overall, we loved the location and enjoyed our stay.

Light filled and lake views for days! What a great apartment for a week long stay on the lake. The home has all the amenities to enjoy cooking at home. Our stay was during February, but given the eastern exposure, we spent every morning enjoy the sun soaked deck looking out out to the lake. The apartment had two good size bedrooms and bathrooms, with plenty of room for a small family to spread out. The communication and check in process was simple and prompt, with Julie being available for our every need. Located in the quiet town of Laglio, you are positioned close to Cernobbio, which was a short drive from the apartment. We would highly recommend staying at the apartment and hope to visit again soon.

Perfect location for our stay. We had a family wedding at Villa Regina Teodolinda and it was only 15mins walk away. There’s a lovely little cafe just below the apartment with friendly staff, we went here most mornings! Also great for catching the bus to nearby towns which then allowed us to catch the ferry around Lake Como. The host was great, answered any queries or questions we had and was quick to reply. Definitely recommend this apartment and area for a chilled relaxing break.
