The famous lido di lenno beach is only around 10 minutes walk from the home plus from the lido beach you can catch the water boat (5 minutes) to Villa Balbianello, probably the most romantic scenery in Lake Como as featured in the James Bond 007 film, Casino Royale. The water ferry stop is within walking distance minutes to access to all parts of the lake whilst the bus stop is less than 5 minutes walk from the home. Please ask for preferred day trips in order to get the most from your stay. Further Details: The home is just a short walk to the local bars and restaurants. Plus we will be happy to recommend our favourite diners, just ask! The nearest supermarket can also be found here in the village just a few minutes from the home. The local bank is also just a short walk from your home. Boat hire can be arranged on request. Supermarket with bakery, pizzeria, mini market all 5 minutes walk or less from your home so car hire isn’t essential.

Apartment is in a lovely location, an easy walk away from the waterfront. Apartment was spotless and Barrie was very helpful. We arrived in pouring rain, which made it difficult to see which block the apartment was in – the video started a couple of seconds too late . Overall a lovely, restful stay. Would recommend!

Excellent week spent in Lenno. The accommodation is very pleasant, clean, very well appointed, with all the necessary equipment. A very beautiful view of the mountains and the lake. The location is great because we can do a lot of things on foot. The swimming pool is also very pleasant. Barry is a very friendly host, attentive and gave us recommendations on restaurants, places to visit… very attentive to ensure that we did not miss anything and the directions to arrive were perfect. We highly recommend and if we come back we will come back with pleasure. Thank you very much!

Great property with a beautiful view right from the living room. Barrie was communicative throughout our stay and gave us very detailed direction for checkin and checkout that made the process very easy. Furthermore, the host recommended dozens of restaurants, activities, points of interest, and public transportation methods, which we found very helpful as we had not been to lake Como before. The property is located on the higher end of a hill, so we would recommend having a car to make the stay even more enjoyable (a free parking space is provided right by the unit), as hiking up the hill was tiresome at times. Likely one of the better properties in Lenno for the price range, and I would definitely recommend staying in Lenno over other main cities on the Lake center, as the port is just as beautiful with little to no crowds, great lakeside restaurants, and direct ferry access to everywhere you need to go.

The apartment was as advertised. The rooms were clean and the the beds were comfortable. It was nice seeing snow covered mountains in May from our balcony. There were some rooftops that constricted some of our view, but that is to be expected. It was also nice eating some of our meals on the balcony. The pool area was very comfortable, attractive and clean. It was nice having a well stocked (and reasonably priced) grocery store within walking distance. We were there as 2 adult couples in our 60’s.

Great location wise to get to the bus station and ferry stops only about a 10 minute walk – easily able to explore surrounding towns like Menaggio, Tremezzo, Bellagio, Bellano and Varenna.”

“Loved my stay at Lenno Spese II. The property was just as pictured in the photos and from the second floor you can get a glimpse of the lake through the window. The ferry port was a short 15 minute walk from the property and the location was perfect for exploring the other popular villages on Lake Como (you can get an all day ferry pass for 15€ Euro per day).
The property can easily be reached by bus from the Como train station and there are several dining options and grocery stores within walking distance, making it easy to navigate on foot if you don’t have a car. Would highly recommend!”
