The flat is located in the heart of Menaggio. When you leave, you will find all amenities within minutes, including cafes, restaurants, shops, ferry and bus stops. An ideal location to access all parts of the lake.
Also ideal for guests who prefer not to hire a car on holiday.
The house is located in the centre of the village near the lake and close to a road adjacent to the main lake road (please note that the house may not be suitable for small children)
The space

The house sleeps 5, including a double and triple room with 3 single beds.
The master bedroom is ensuite. Two bathrooms in total.
Choose from a shower room or shower room. Both bathrooms are equipped with toilets.

Please note for transparency reasons, the house is located above a main road in the heart of the village centre, so some noise is to be expected.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Barrie and Julie’s place. The apartment was just as described in the listing and on the photos. It was all very spacious and very clean and Barrie and Julie were always ready with advice, tips or answers to your questions.
The only downside was the apartment came out on a busy road and you heard this often at night.
Of course, the location gave us a very nice view and perfect place in beautiful Menaggio

Place was spacious and clean and worked well for a family. Great location if you do not have a car as you could walk to ferry, bus stop, grocery store and restaurants. It is located on a busy street so not quiet & peaceful but settled down at night. Nice view of lake from patio and well-stocked kitchen. We enjoyed our stay at this lovely roomy apartment with a beautiful view of the lake from the terrace. It was very convenient for all amenities in Menaggio, just a few minutes from the ferry, the town centre with its shops, cafes and restaurants and the lakeside walk. The apartment is just as you enter the main area of the town, two minutes from the ferry port. It’s in an older building and recently renovated with two really spacious bedrooms and a lovely open -plan living area. There is a great terrace from where you have a lovely view of the lake and the surrounding mountains.
The apartment is really well equipped with everything you need for a stay and it’s location is perfect both for accessing all of the lovely restaurants and bars in Menaggio and for exploring the lake by Ferry. You really don’t need a car! A perfect location.
Some people have said that the apartment is a little bit noisy as it is right on the road, but if you live in a city as we do, it’s relatively quiet, particularly at night! So it’s all relative.

We were extremely satisfied with the support from Barrie and Lory before the trip as well as from Julie on site!! Everything went smoothly, we were also given several tips about the organization, the activities, reservation offers and suitable locations for us!
