Menaggio is the main provincial town of Lake Como which looks out towards Bellagio and features a typical Italian piazza.

The lake side is fringed with palms which form an elegant back drop when strolling along the lake. The lido/beach is extremely child friendly.
Both Bellagio and Switzerland are reachable in less than 30 minutes by ferry and car respectively. Golfing is just a 5 minute drive.
