Sports and adventure pursuits
The northern end of the Lake is famous for its water sports centres, but it is less well known that there are facilities for both water sports and a range of exciting adventure pursuits in the ‘sightseeing’ mid-lake area, particularly in Menaggio and in and around Bellagio. Como also has a wide range of sporting facilities.
Many water sports centres run classes for beginners and children. And adventure pursuits are also tailored to first timers by, for example, providing parachuting and paragliding in tandem with an experienced practitioner.
