Car hire

There are lots of car hire firms with airport pick-ups and drop offs. But you should book in advance to be certain of availability. You can try Car Rentals for availability and great rates.

For driving directions use www.viamichelin.com. Type in airport and village visiting for easy to follow directions. Individual directions given on request with each booking. Most destinations are reachable from 45 mins (Laglio) to 90 minutes (Menaggio) from Milan.

Private transfer (taxi or minibus)

There is no doubt that private transfers can be a more attractive, if more expensive, option than public transport and self drive car hire.
